HEPA Filter For A Unitak 3D Printer Enclosure
I keep my 3D printer in an enclosure, which helps contain noise, drafts, and some of the VOCs and particulate matter that naturally comes with printing. Since the enclosure is otherwise fairly closed, I wanted a way to filter its air rather than simply letting it escape through gaps or collecting inside.
The result was a small, printed filter assembly built around a HEPA filter. The filter also has an activated carbon filter to filter out odours. Supoposedly an H13 HEPA filter can remove 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns
The enclosure comes with a small USB fan and a mounting spot for it, but without air filtration.
